The HZJ79 Toyota Land Cruiser has been the leading standard in man-carrier vehicles for decades in the mining industry. Recently, mines in Canada tried to incorporate the Dodge, John Deere and Gator mine vehicles into their facilities to replace the Land Cruiser. The integrity of these vehicles did not hold up against the harsh mine conditions and these companies eventually switched back to the Land Cruiser.
