History & Experience

The team at CIPS has decades worth of experience working in the auto and mining industries. More specifically, in1994 Dennis received his Degree in Automotive Studies at the Georgian College. Over 45 years, Dennis has worked in the auto and mining  industries where he started in shipping departments and there on he climbed all the way up to fixed operations manager. His skills applied to a business like Canadian Industrial Parts & Service have been nothing but a benefit to our success.

As for Devin, his experience started very similar in shipping departments and quickly moved up into sales where he increased his departments quality of service and fill rates. Mentored both by Dennis Downing and a industry veteran of 35 years, Mark Koback, Devin increased the sales in his department due to his ability to ensure the proper inventory is in stock to fulfill client needs.

Both Devin and Dennis have set up numerous warehouses and have the experience in understanding how the correct processes can improve the operation of a company and in turn provide a better client experience. Also, both having knowledge in the product they are providing is an asset.

Having served in other companies or so many years and seeing the areas where the industry needed improvement. Devin and Dennis have decided that now was the time to start their own company and challenge themselves with the task to provide the best customer experience possible and offer new solutions to the industry.

CIPS Support Structure

We are supported by the BDC (Business Development Centre)

The investing team at CIPS are all dedicated to ensuring the company gets the support it needs for success. Our investors are capable of supporting the financial demands of supplying the mining industry. We have also secured a trade partner within Canada to ensure we have enough supply within our reach to keep up with demand. Having this additional warehouse to draw from will allow us to mitigate part shortages within a day or two.

Unlike other providers such as car dealers, all of our energy, resources, and funding is solely focused on providing the best price and top service for the product we provide. We do not have other entities that influence price increases or take away focus from serving our CIPS clients. We also provide shipment tracking at a higher level than our competitors so all of our clients are updated on their shipment status.

Our team at CIPS understands that vehicle downtime for the mines is a critical and expensive situation. We aim to minimize that downtime as much as possible by providing accurate products the first time and by reducing wait times as we grow our inventory.
